My background is in atmospheric science first as a researcher, and then as a research software engineer (RSE) where I provided technical and scientific support to users of Earth System models. Through this, I became interested in management of research, and in 2020 I joined the SSI as a project manager. I am still an active member of the RSE community, and I am a trustee for the Society for Research Software Engineers.

I am also interested in public engagement and use of citizen science in research, particularly around air pollution and engaging the public to monitor air pollution in thier communities. In my spare time I run, swim and I am currently trying to improve my very rusty Spanish.
