I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry at the University of Coimbra. I earned my Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh, and continued as a PDRA for 3 years before joining EPCC in 2023.

I am part of the CSE team for ARCHER2 and Cirrus, where I answer user queries, deliver training courses on a variety of topics, and work on continuous service improvement tasks -- mostly to improve our automated tests.
I am the course organizer for the Fundaments of HPC Systems Administration, I supervise MSc students during their projects, and I am involved with outreach activities.
I have worked on the Elliptical Parcel in Cell project, and I currently manage the EPCC team working with the MetOffice to update their simulation software for the next generation of supercomputers (NG-ARCH), and the International Collaboration Towards Net Zero Computational Modelling and Simulation (CONTINENTS), a project in collaboration with NCAS and NCAR.
