Dr Sebastien Lemaire

I joined EPCC in early 2023, just after completing my PhD in CFD development for maritime applications at the University of Southampton and MARIN (Maritime Research Institute Netherlands). My research focused on improving the trade-offs between solution accuracy and parallel performance for complex simulations. Such simulations may include, for example, the motion of a ship in waves with rotating propellers and moving rudders.
