The 2025 Edinburgh Science Festival will explore the challenges of living on a planet with finite resources, through the lenses of science fiction and space exploration, with the theme Spaceship Earth.

Our events will include a journey through the global history of air pollution. Guided by the 'Air Quality Stripes,' we’ll explore how pollution levels have shifted across the world. Discover the science behind the data and gain insights into the air quality challenges - and solutions - for a healthier future! Read more in Kirsty Pringle's article: Touring the History of Air Pollution – with Air Quality Stripes.

We're also part of Meet the Scientists: The University of Edinburgh, running from Monday 14–Wednesday 16 April.

Come along and say hello!
